How it all began

Our Story

Adventurous beginnings, a shared love of travel, and a connection that has only grown stronger over time.

Fall 2015

First Meeting

They met on the job, with Richard noticing Aubi first and her wanting nothing to do with him. His first request for a date was met with denial. Regardless, a friendship formed over long nights at work, Marvel movies, and undergrad struggles.

Fall 2017

The First Date

Atlanta's Skyview, rock climbing, and late night dinner set the stage for the relationship.

Fall 2024

The Proposal

On Aubi's birthday, October 10th, Richard proposed on a balcony in Hawaii overlooking the city.

Our Wedding Day

On a cliffside overlooking the Caribbean Sea at Borghinvilla, Jamaica, Aubi and Richard will say "I do" surrounded by the people they love most. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Dress Code

Tropical Formal — Think elegant resort wear. Floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses for guests, linen suits or dress shirts for gentlemen. Jamaica in September is warm and breezy — dress to feel beautiful and comfortable. Please avoid white and ivory out of respect for the bride.

Fly into Montego Bay (MBJ) — Borghinvilla is about 45 minutes east along the coast. We've rounded up great nearby stays for every style.

Fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ)

Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport (MBJ) is Jamaica's main gateway with direct flights from most major US cities. From the airport, it's a scenic ~45-minute drive east along the coast to Borghinvilla in Discovery Bay. Private transfers, taxis, and resort shuttles are all readily available.

FAQ

Everything you need to know before the big day.

Yes — all guests traveling from the US will need a valid passport. Make sure yours is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Jamaica also requires a completed C5 Immigration & Customs Form which can be filled out online before departure at enterjamaica.com. US citizens do not need a visa.

Fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay — Jamaica's main gateway with direct flights from most major US cities. Borghinvilla is approximately 45 minutes east along the coast. All three partner hotels offer airport transfer services; confirm at booking.

Please RSVP by July 15, 2026. Because this is a destination wedding, we need to confirm final headcounts well in advance. If you miss the deadline, please reach out directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM sharp. Please arrive 20–30 minutes early to settle in and take in the stunning cliffside views!
